The purpose of this article is to describe, or better yet explain the ground rules for PcP Clan. These rules are not just suggestions, they are rules. We have all been guilty of breaking some of these rules I’m sure. Yet now that we are an established, fairly well known clan, I feel it is important to set some limitations for ourselves. There is an anonymous yet very famous quote which says “Freedom is movement in harness”. This essentially means that things operate smoother when there are some boundaries. We all know that a society dominated by anarchy would never survive. So in effort to try and diffuse conflicts before they arise……..here goes nothin’!!!
Mandatory Fun Rule
1. We are all game enthusiasts, and gamers have fun. I didn’t spend 50 bucks on any of these games so I could NOT have a good time. We all do this to relax and escape from the daily grind. That being said, if you are unhappy with the game or the clan in general….THEN LEAVE. We hold no grudges and we understand that people have more pressing matters to attend to sometimes. If letting go of the clan is in your best interest, we will understand.
Clan Dues
4. Dues are not mandatory, but we strongly encouarge donating funds to help keep our servers running. PcP Brew accepts payments via PayPal.
Matches
5. Matching will only take place if there is a majority vote to do so. If the majority of the clan wishes to match in a particular game, all members will be expected to sign up for the ladders associated with the game. You will not be forced to play if you dont want to, but having more people on the roster makes it easier to access more of the available leagues and shows other prospective members that we stick together.
Servers
6. Servers will be rented under the same guidelines. Members will gain admin rights to the servers based on monetary contributions and upon learning the intricacies of setting up and maintaining the server. Servers take alot of work and directly represent the clan. A separate set of guidelines will be established for being an admin on our servers. These guidelines will be game specific. If you are an admin you will be expected to adhere to a strict guideline for admins. You cannot kick a player out just because you THINK they are full of it. You must have proof. Also, for admin of COD4 servers there will be a rotation through the members for checking the Screen Shots of players suspected of cheating.
New Games
7. All members are encouraged to explore all genres of gaming. If you find a game you think we would all be interested in, please start a thread so we can review and discuss the new interest.
This list of rules is a lot shorter than the previous one, so if we missed anything let us know. We hope to be able to updates this list again soon, but that all depends on some well known game developers and their abilities to please the general populous.
